Cancellation/Amendment Policy
We understand that from
time to time, the need to cancel/amend a booking arises for
reasons beyond the
control of the delegate. This policy is designed to protect both the
delegate and the
course organisers
in such an eventuality.
1. Cancellations/amendments
must be made in writing or by email to bookings@smalltalk-languages.co.uk.
2. If for any reason a delegate is unable
to attend a course they may substitute someone else from the same school/organisation
at any time without charge.
3. If for any reason a delegate is unable
to attend a course, they may be able to transfer their booking to a later
date provided that at least 28 days notice is given.
4. Where a delegate is unable to attend,
and is not in a position to transfer his/her place to another person or to
another date, a refund will be issued provided that at least 28 days notice
is given.
5. Where a delegate is unable to attend,
and is not in a position to transfer his/her place to another person or to
another date, the following cancellation fees will be incurred:
(a) Cancellations
received less than 7 days before the start date of a course will be charged
100% of the course fees.
(b) Cancellations received
less than 14 days before the start date of a course will be charged 75% of
the course fees.
(c) Cancellations
received less than 21 days before the start date of a course will be
charged 50% of the course fees.
(d) Cancellations
received less than 28 days before the start date of a course will be
charged 25% of the course fees.
(e) Cancellations
received more than 28 days before the start date of a course will not be charged.
5. Delegates who do not submit a
cancellation in writing or do not attend on the date of the course will be
charged 100% of the course fees.
6. Extenuating
circumstances may be taken into account at the discretion of the
organisers.
