The main focus of the course will be on language
learning and practical methodology.
Language
Learning
This session will concentrate on developing confidence in
basic language
skills. Participants will work in a fun, relaxed atmosphere, learning the
key
vocabulary and phrases required to introduce French to school children.

· Commands
· Classroom

Practical
Methodology
This session will concentrate on looking at fun, creative
ideas to help staff encourage
children to communicate in a foreign language. Participants will be shown a
variety
of clear and simple techniques to bring French lessons to life using
resources already
available in the classroom. They will be encouraged to take part in
practical
workshops, trying out the various activities and ideas. Areas to be covered
will include:
· Games
· Activities
· Songs
· Rhymes
At the end of
the course participants will be able to return to their learning
environment
confident, enthusiastic and ready to promote basic French.
